Stretch marks

Fractioned laser 1540 Star-lux Palomar is the latest and only system to obtained the american FDA approval for the treatment of stretch marks. These, often resulting from rapid weight variations, pregnancy, sedentary habits or even genetic and familiary predisposition, affect mostly women.

The most affected areas are the abdomen, flanks, glutei and breasts while in men they are generally located on the arms and thorax.

Recently formed stria appear dark red while, with time, they turn lighter and slighlty hollow with respect to the surrounding dermis.

By determining canalicular denaturation of the treated dermis, fractioned laser stimulates cutaneous cell regeneration and the production of new collagen with nearly negligible recovery periods.
